KATHY

I first met Kathy when she was 15 years old; just a couple weeks before I took these beautiful SOCAL modeling pictures of the beautiful young female model on a remote San Diego beach.

At the time, I was working with a prestigious San Diego modeling school and it was sponsoring a large West Coast model contest to find new young female California models to promote.

The school invited me to be one of the four beauty contest judges.

Kathy was the first model to hit the runway — wearing her swimsuit — and the audience went wild as she strutted up and down the catwalk.

Long story short, Kathy won the beauty contest and her prizes included a chaperoned trip to New York City to meet with the Ford Modeling Agency there, and a professional modeling portfolio photographed by a top fashion photographer.

I was the so-called "top fashion photographer" and she and I took some beautiful pictures together, including the above West Coast beach pictures of Kathy in her swimsuit modeling on the Southern California beach with the Pacific Ocean surf in the background.

Several years later, I photographed Kathy at her wedding in San Diego and then we lost touch.
