This beautiful California Indian imagery is part of a 190,000-megabyte digital archive Gary Ballard is building from more than 30,000 original film negatives he took for a client over a 13 years as an independent photographer both of these digital images were originally photographed on medium-format negative films and scanned in very high pixel resolutions as part of this decades-long tribal historical project.
